Sound

 Now it’s time for sound elements! I’m a little nervous when it comes to the sound of my film opening because my film is mostly silent.

For the opening scene where she is at cheer practice, I want to utilize background music. I’ll find a copyright free music that’s more upbeat to create the idea that she is very happy where she is. The reason I want the beginning to be more light and upbeat is to really accentuate that contrast that I’ve mentioned in my previous blog posts.

Once it gets to Camila in her house, I want the music to slowly get more and more intense and sped up as the intensity of the scene. I intend using music with lots of stings and to match up the scene with those stings.

Overall, I think the audio will come together in the end. Once I do more research on copyright free music, I’ll be able to have a clearer vision of the type of music I want and where I want it to go.
